About this place
Whether you’re in the mood to take your time choosing a whisky or to pair a drink with something to eat, Breeze offers both an extensive drinks selection and a bar-food menu. Japanese whiskies include Yamazaki 12 Year Old, Hakushu 12 Year Old and Taketsuru 21 Year Old, alongside bourbon and brandy. You can settle on a particular whisky or switch things up with a cocktail. One visitor found the gin and tonic, made with Hanagata gin, crisp and easy to drink; another described the blueberry cocktail as being like a smoothie with pieces of fruit. There are also reports of enjoyable non-alcoholic fruit cocktails, so non-drinkers have options too.
For food, choices include homemade onion gratin soup, omelettes and raisin butter. A diner who ordered these also enjoyed a cheese platter featuring Camembert, Mimolette, Gorgonzola and figs. There’s a range to suit the evening, from a light snack to a warming soup. The menu also includes assorted rice crackers, dried fruit and homemade fish and chips, among other options—whether you’re after drinks snacks or something more substantial.
